Live training is offered online via Zoom or in-person for groups of five or more.
Special Education Basics Workshop
This is a workshop that teaches parents and those interested about the special education process, regardless of whether or not your child has been identified as having a disability. It gives an overview of parental and individual rights of a person with a disability under IDEA (Individual with Disabilities Education Act).
IEP Process Workshop
This is a workshop that teaches parents, whose children qualify for an Individualized Education Program or those interested, ways to use the information learned in the Special Education Basics Workshop to write an effective IEP.

Transitions to Success Workshop
This is a workshop that reviews details of the school districts’ responsibility in developing a Transition Plan for children who qualify for special education services under IDEA (Individual with Disabilities Education Act) in order to prepare for life after high school. This workshop includes information on adult agencies.
